Responsibilities
The Animal Control Program encourages responsible pet ownership in our county and concentrating on the control of rabies. Our officers respond to calls and complaints regarding:

- Stray and abandoned pets

Dangerous dogs

Injured animals
- Animal welfare or cruelty

Surrendering a pet
- Lost pets
- Adoptions

921 First Street Extension, Nashville (between hwy 64 and Indian Trail)
$5.00 per animal (dogs and cats)
Have animal contained or on a leash
One year tags will be issued--Three year tags require proof of 1 year vaccination.
