1. My organization (church, school, etc.) wants to provide health information to individuals. Can we get brochures from the health department?

The Health Education and Planning team purchases and develops educational information such as brochures on many health topics, however, supplies are often limited. Please contact us at 252-459-1513 at least two weeks before your event and we will try to assist you or put you in contact with someone else who may be able to meet your needs.

2. My organization is hosting a health fair or needs a health presentation. Can the health department participate?

Health Education and Planning staff often attend health fairs or conduct group presentations to share information on general health department services as well as on specific topics such as diabetes, nutrition, etc. as requested. Please contact us at 252-459-1513 at least one month in advance of your event and we will try to arrange the most appropriate service.
