Nash County Senior Services

The Senior Services Division of the Recreation and Senior Services Department celebrates aging, supports independence in our community, and addresses the needs of the complete individual by offering information, referrals, and access to continued growth and development. Our mission is accomplished by providing programs and services for seniors 60 years of age or older.

The Senior Services Division operates two senior centers to serve the community: the Nash County Senior Center in Nashville and the Southern Nash Senior Center in Bailey. Recreational programs offered include aerobics, arts and crafts, cards and games, dance classes, socials, support groups, and educational classes.
Additionally, the Nash County Senior Services Division offers a wide array of services to seniors and their caregivers. The Home Delivered Meals program is provided in the communities of Bailey, Middlesex, Samaria, Spring Hope, Nashville, Castalia, Red Oak, and West Mount. Family caregiver resources, including Respite Services, are available for caregivers. Other services provided include Frozen Meals, Project Lifesaver, General and Medical Transportation, and referral information for other services not provided by our agency.
