"Nash
County Government Works": A Citizen's Academy - 2009
Nash County will offer a series of classes designed to inform citizens about
county government. The Citizen's Academy will be held on Thursday evenings
from 6 to 8:30 p.m., January 22-March 26, 2009. Dinner will be provided. To
be considered, applicants must submit applications by 5 p.m. December 1,
2008.

County Emergency Services Holds Disaster Drill on 9-11
Nash County Emergency Services conducted a large scale disaster drill at
the Rocky Mount Wilson Airport on September 11th.

Nash County has instituted the CodeRED Emergency
Notification System allowing us to telephone all or targeted areas of
the County in case of an emergency situation.

COUNTY CLEAN UP
In an effort to improve community appearance, Nash County will now
remove junk and abandoned vehicles at no cost. Vehicles must be
located in the unincorporated areas of Nash County.
